Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Wings

🍗Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Wings! I recently purchased a 6qt air fryer from Dash and it is amazing!! I usually bake them and it makes a huge mess. This was super easy and made incredible wings with only 4 ingredients!


Serves 4-5, 10 min prep, 30-40 min cooking time


 Ingredients:

  • 4-5 lbs of chicken wings
  • 2tbs of baking powder
  • 2tbs of Salt & Vinegar seasoning (I get mine at @bwwings)
  • 1tbs of EVOO

Directions:

  1. Take wings and if frozen let them thaw in cold water. 
  2. Pat dry and place in a large bowl. 
  3. Add 1tbs of baking powder to wings and toss. Do this twice. 
  4. Add 1tbs of seasoning and toss. Do this twice also. 
  5. Using a paper towel, spread EVOO at the bottom and sides of air fryer basket. 
  6. Add wings and air fry on 400° for 10 minutes. 
  7. Take out basket and shake up the wings, bringing the bottom ones to top. 
  8. Put basket back in air fryer and repeat the process at least 2-3 more times cooking in 10 minute intervals. 
  9. Total cooking time should be 30-40 minutes depending on how well done you like your wings. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy!

Slow Cooker Butter Chicken (Whole30 approved)

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or chicken thighs
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼-1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 (14oz) can coconut milk (full fat)
  • 1 (6oz) can tomato paste
  • juice of 1 lime
  • ¼c Cilantro, or to taste


Directions:

  1. In a medium saute pan, heat coconut oil over medium heat. 
  2. Add onion and sauté until translucent and tender. 
  3. Add garlic, ginger, spices, and salt. Cook 1 minute longer, till all the spices are fragrant and amazing. 
  4. Stir in coconut milk and tomato paste and stir until well combined.
  5. Add chicken to the slow cooker. Pour sauce over everything.
  6. Cook on high heat for 3-4 hours or on low heat for 6-8 hours.
  7. Shred or dice chicken into the sauce, squeeze in lime juice, top with cilantro, and serve with mashed potatoes-carrots-onion. I seasoned it with garlic and cardamom, ghee, and salt & pepper.
